Rear shock upgrade 2012 element 50 alloy

    Hello,

I'm currently running OE fitted fox RP2 and Currently considering an upgrade. I've only had fox before so I'm keen to try a rock shox monarch rct3

    http://www.sram.com/rockshox/products/monarch-rt3

As I've never replaced a shock before I have no idea what configuration I'll need. Like length, tune, what difference would the larger air can make etc.

Any help / info is appreciated.

You need to order it valved for the bike, and that is something that should be able to be done when buying it new. It's something that gets looked up in a database somewhere at SRAM and they spit out a shock with the right valving and details.

Rear shock upgrade 2012 element 50 alloy

Ok so that's easy enough. Any thoughts on the monarch rct3 and how it rides.
