    No 18" Vertex 29 SE??

I'm looking for an 18" Vertex 29 SE but my LBS said Rocky "has not produced any" this year. Does anyone know if that' true?

They have a 19" but I'm about 5'10" - 5'11" and it feels too big for me. Actually, I have yet to have any LBS give me good advice on sizing. I know it's personal preference but I've been on the same bike for over 8 years and this 29er has a very different geometry. Any suggestions on whether I'd be ok with the 19" or is it meant for someone taller?

My other option is taking their 18" Vertex 50 ("26er"). It feels good but it's not a 29er.

I expect that it's just a matter of there being no inventory as there are 2011 Vertex 29 and 29 SE bikes in 18" size in stock in other places.

Whatever size frame size you ride in 26" wheels should also work in a 29" frame, you still need the HTT length.
