Always love seeing Rockys in action, especially vids. Nice stuff!

So Lee, how did you like the Slayer SXC on the Shore?

Its an exceptional dh bike. Certainly better then most. Its a mediocre XC bike though. The suspension is tough to tune for small hits and I worked pretty closely with Rocky on this. I'd have to say the DH ability surprised me

and boy can you ever air this thing

When I roll up to the trailhead for a ride people look at me funny and ask:

"Do you take that thing to the ski hill?"

I respond in the negative and tell them that if I ever get to the ski hill I'll rent a 'big' bike. I then proceed to grunt and huff and puff along the XC trails with my 6" travel SXC monstrosity. But hey, I'm happy, when I tried more xc oriented bikes all I did was bend/break/warp/crush components. But such is life at 240lbs....

But seriously, xc-wise I only find it onerous on the really long really steep climbs, but realistically when it gets so steep that I'm popping major wheelies I find that my legs and lungs are happy to give up and walk no matter what bike I'm on!
