Internal cable setup- cross or no-cross? Element RSL 29

After disassembling my BC element RSL 29 I somehow and embarrassingly forgot the exact routing of the gear cables and I am not able to find a clear picture on the net:

Does the gear cables cross in the front before entering the frame? e.g:
Does the left front-derailleur enter at the bottom hole to the right- or does it enter on the same side of the frame?( I believe it should be the bottom holes, right?)

If they cross, should the cables recross within the frame or after exiting the bottom hole? If anybody could post pictures it would be most helpful.

    Thanks

    J

The cables do enter the opposite side of the frame at the headtube. So the front shifter enters the right side of the frame and the rear shifter enters the left side of the frame.

At the BB insert, the FD cable exits on the right side and the rear derailleur cabe on the left, so no x-over inside the frame needed.

The shifter cables have cable stops in the frame and the shock remote and seatpost routing do not have stops. So the upper cable entry will be your shifter cables.

Great, thanks, much appreciated! In this context: Any suggestions for optimal brand/kind of replacement gear cables?

The SRAM/Gore fully sealed shift cables will reduce the shift lever effort by about half and you'll never have to change them again. They are fussy to install but worth it.
