    Flare 29

Does anybody know anything about the Rocky Mountain flare 29er? It looks like a good entry level 29er to me with room to upgrade. I was wondering everyone else's openion

Looks pretty good, certainly has the upgrade potential in the frame. I don't know what your budget is but it might be worth stretching to something like the fusion 29 if you can do that now, same frame but has better forks, shifters and hydraulic discs, so will be cheaper in the long run as you're likely to upgrade those items pretty soon I'd reckon.

A look around for some of last years models on a good offer is always worthwhile, I've just saved close to 40% on my Element 970 over original SRP.
