    element bc edition diet

I'm looking to reduce weight on my 2013 element bc edition and/or upgrade parts, I've already done 1X10 conversion. Went tubeless with the dt swiss but I had to use stans rubber rim strip for them to seal so no weight reduction there. I'm looking to maybe upgrading to mavic crossmax slr's. I will be able to go full tubeless so I will shave weight there but not sure if the wheel weight (DT swiss x1.6 vs crossmax slr) will help in the weight department. I will have to send in the tallas for CTD replacement (I had the 2014 upgrade done mid summer) as it is out of commission. Maybe thinking of converting it to float (saves weight + better performance I hear)

    Any upgrade suggestions?

Wheels are always the big weight losses, you might as well change out that heavy cassette too. I would also think about carbon bars and seat. Cheap weight drops would be grips.

I'm not sure I would change much more as it's a bike that's intended to hold up in BC's terrain.
