DHX 5.0 on an 06' Slayer?

I'm thinking to replace the rp3 that came stock on my slayer 70 with a dhx 5. Any tried this and had luck with it? Any info/advice appreciated.

The '06's don't have the space for the reservoir.

The '07 Slayer SXC's have more space and come with the DHX air now.

    Cheers,

    Doubt it....

will fit. This was my major gripe with the 06 (not that I have one is the other gripe). Maybe consider the RP23. Word on the street is that it performs much like a coil in terms of feel.

    Edit: Yeah, what EB said.

I want to go coil. Just to see the ride difference. From what I gather, it might not fit, bummer.

Avalanche makes a super blinged out shock with remote. But again, may not fit, spring wise.

What about a romic or vanilla, or another coil shock without the piggy back? it would possibly fit, and would possibly cheaper than a dhx 5 coil.
it tied the room together man!

A fox Vanilla R Coil will fit or if you can get a hold of the Vanilla with the remote reservoir, you could attach to the water bottle mount.
