90% probability of dry metal to metal contact in main swingarm pivot axle.

after everything else you've done if greasing the swingarm pivot doesn't resolve it see if you've got pedal washers or at least grease on the threads and spindle/crank interface. i've actually stripped and rebuilt more than one bike with a phantom creak only to find that was the problem.

now it's generally the first thing i check/eliminate since it's the simplest.

I chased a creak on my aluminium hardtail for almost a year, replaced or greased everything, only to find one day it was the nylon buckle on my hydration pack.

Thanks guys I have checked my peddled also. Ill try greasing all my pivots again. I'm about to just live with it or maybe sell it. I Love the Bike but the Creaking is Driving me Bonkers.

All the metal to metal contact points in the Ride9 hardware should be greased as well.

Do you have a dropper post? When I bought my bike I also got a stealth post, it made allot of noise. the shop that installed it found they had put the top piece on backwards.

Same frustration... creaking, but found a solution (at least for me)

I also have been exteremly frustrated with the amount of noise this bike creates after only 230 off road miles on it. I did find 3 main sources for my creaking (which now have been solved and back to a quiet bike). First the seat tube; Even though my seat was not slipping I found that my seat tube/seat post was causing a creak. I tightened up the seat post collar and that cured that particular creak.
The next creak which I could not identify the location for several weeks, turned out to be the 4 bolts on the handlebar stem mount. I slightly tightened each of the 4 bolts and this solved the noise. I could not re-create the noise without riding so it was difficult to identify the location of the creak. It sounded like it was coming from the headset and sometimes sounded like it was coming from the shock area.

Lastly, I had to perform this twice so I am not sure which ABC bushing it was but I took apart the rear pivot near the derauiler along with the main pivot by the BB and all the pivots near the shock. Althought they indicate no lube required, I cleaned each and installed back with a little grease on each. This finally solved all the creaks I have up to this point.

I am still disappointed that a bike with so few miles on the trail developed so many creaks (my 2004 stumpjumper did not develop any creaks until several years old and were easy to identify and fix) but I guess with this much travel and the suspension design there are going to be some trade offs. anyway I hope my tips help
