Converting a RM9
I have a 2002 RM9, anyone who has one is familiar with the probelms it suffers from. However I was wondering if anybody knows if I could replace the rear of the bike with that of an RM7 or RMX? The main reason for this is to fit a second chain ring, so the bike is more useful. Secondly it will shorten up the rear a little, always a good thing!
So if anyone has any opinions on this or has done similair, please let me know.
Looking forward to your replies,
Norbert.

The RM9 uses a slightly different swingarm than the RM7 and the RMX's swingarm is much different than that of the RM9. I'me not entirely sure but the measurements for the linkage are of a different size making them non-interchangable. I dont think that it is possible but I could be wrong.
