Anyone running non Fox CDT rear shocks on their (650) Altitudes?

    Curious what options we have.
Or if CDT is 'mandatory' for this suspension platform.
    Thoughts!

Yes, Rockshox Monarch. Love it over the Fox that was on my element.

    Tell me more.
As in, a review of sorts, perhaps?
I hated the Monarch on my old Trance, but this is a whole different animal.
Isn't the Altitude platform quite a bit different than the Element?
Did the '13 Element come with CTD?

I'm running a '14 Monarch Plus RT3 on my Altitude currently. Absolute money IMO, a big upgrade from the Float I replaced

Alta, you are talking about a '13 650 Altitude, correct?

Haha. I just replaced my noise making Monarch with a Float CTD on my '13 Altitude. Shock worked fine I just couldn't take the squishy sound it made. Refer to youtube if you have questions.
