Week old bike and headset comes loose just looking at a jump. Anybody else having this problem? Also the paint is cracking around the rear brake caliper.

Headset coming loose is most likely an LBS assembly issue, someone not getting the headset cap snug enough. Certainly worth double checking the stem bolts and headset before really hitting it hard.

Paint cracks around a brake caliper would not be a good thing, maybe post up a close up of that problem.

I'll take a pic tonight. It came with 10series headset which has plastic crown race and comp ring. I tried 40 series guts and it still came loose. Really frustrating... Star nut is even getting pulled out. I guess it back to lbs which an hours drive away.

    Replace the entire headset.

Rocky shipped those with the same crappy plastic headsets in the DJ bikes. Plastic headset in a SS bike... tshhhhh.

Torqued the headset to max, seems to have solved it.
