    2013 Element 950 ordered!

    Hello all

I just ordered an Element 950 and am stoked!

Here in Israel, the front and reas suspension are Fox and the braking and gears are Shimano (XT derailers).

I get it on Wednesday and will post pics.

A pretty superficial post, but i am just excited!

Nice choice Mike, just got my alu 970 this week and although it was only 10 days between order and delivery, it still felt like a looooong time....

Thanks. Enjoy your new ride. I'm going to ask them to prep it early. An eternity indeed!

Took my 970 alu out for a spin today as well. Just as you say, climbs well, very fast and all the reviews were right in that it doesn't feel like a 29er, as nimble as my 26" vertex in the twisty stuff.
Only things I found hard was getting on a FS bike again and learning the art of the preload before the jump once more and still not getting on with the pea gravel here in Western Australia!

The best tire I've run across for pea gravel when it's a thin layer across a hard surface are the Conti Race King in Black Chili. Just weirdly good at that kind of surface. Nothing helps in deep pea gravel.

Thanks RUH, after buying my bike, helmet etc., i have zero left for anything else; i'll just need to corner better or slower :-)
