I can't seem to find out by using google but are the tires tubeless or not?

They wouldn't be UST tubeless, but they should be designated TL Ready on the sidewall. According to the chart on this page, all the 27.5" Nobby Nics with folding beads are TL Ready.

The Nobby Nics that came on my 2013 750msl were not the TL Ready version and didn't have the logo on the sidewall.

I swapped them out for Maxxis High Roller 2s and switched to WTB Frequency rims.

I got the TL ready Nobby Nics on my 730 which I flipped over to tubeless last fall. Worked out well after the initial leaks ect.

The 2013 Rocky Mtn Altitude came with the "Performance" line Noby Nic tires. The performance is good, but they wear out faster than any tire on the planet. Seriously, got 2 months out of a rear tire!
That said, the first thing I did was yank out the tubes, run some gorilla tape on the Inferno rims and blow 'em up with a compressor. They were super easy to set up tubeless and I haven't had any problems with burping or anything else related to tubless. Used Stans sealant, but doubt it would matter one way or another.
Do it! Tubes are for roadies and tourists. "Tubeless ready" is just a marketing slogan. All mountain bikes tires are tubeless ready with tape and sealant. It's just that some rim/tire combos are less willing to cooperate.
