'09 Altitude rear shock specs ???

I've just picked a used '09 Altitude. It's in great shape but the previous owner has replaced the forks with Fox 36 Van Rs and the rear shock with a Manitou 4 way Swinger SPV !! Swapping the forks out is no problem and I know the rear shock is 200mm x 57mm but does anyone know what the factory tuning is on the RP23 ? I want to get an original spec Fox for the rear.
    Thanks, Rob.

The aftermarket build number on the 2010 Boost Valve equipped Fox RP23 shock was 972-90-045 and it is a 7.875" x 2.25" stroke shock, and the boost valve is set at 200. The Fox reducers for the shock body end are the 803-03-030 and the reducers for the shaft end are the 803-03-031. I'm not sure how that will translate to the current crop of Fox shocks.

I replaced the original 2009 RP23 with the 2010 RP23 with the Boost Valve and the Boost Valve made a huge difference in the suspension performance on small bump compliance without having to go so soft on the basic setup that it is mushy. I've still got the original 2009 RP23 sitting around here on a shelf.

Is your 21010 RP23 a Rocky Mountain part or store bought ?

The original RP23 shock was medium rebound and medium compression tune with a high volume canister. I didn't record the velocity tune of the Boost Valve shock. The valving info will be buried in that shock part number. I'll dig back through photos from the time and see if I have some shots of the shock body.

I originally ordered an OEM shock part number (#972-75-033) but the OEM and aftermarket use a different numbering and parts scheme, so it was transcribed to the #972-90-045 number

Campy style IS headset 42mm at insertion for the carbon version

Universal Cycles -- FSA Impact Pro Integrated Headset

The alloy version used a standard FSA 1.125" MX headset.

Ok, managed to pick up an RP23 Boost with Kashima coating with the correct spec. Anyone know what shock bushing sizes are needed for the '09 Altitude frame ??
    Thanks.
