    niner is lighter, looks better and costs $350.

    not sure how the syncros will ride, but to beat the niner will be tough.

    Niner Carbon Fork...
    Lighter: 565g (yes)
    Looks Better: Preference & Subjective (although, I do agree...)
    Cost: $350
    Tough to Beat: 470mm (this is where the option makes a bit more sense...there are some who would like a longer a-c for their rigid 29ers...if price deters people who would like this, the market may cause prices to go down - supply & demand -, but if their target audience is willing to drop the coin... )

    It has a 38mm offset too.

    That's going to limit its appeal.
