    Syncros DS23 rims

Anybody here who use these (syncros ds23) for racing? I'm looking at building my first race bike and thought of using these. Any comments? If youhave to ask, weight is 440 grams / rim. Thank you.

I actually use the DS28 for XC racing. I like it quite a bit. It is a touch heavier coming in at the 550gr range but I like the wider foot print too.

I don't really have a strictly XC rig, I'm using a 08 Trek Fuel EX 08 which is a little longer travel and slacker angles, but I really like the ride.

I'm a fan of the rim, but if you want to run tubeless, you have to install a rimstrip kit to do so, to some that is a negative.

I just sucked it up and went with it anyways though. Gets a big from me.

IMHO...the syncros is a bit heavy.if you want sth with a wider profile, yet light, get the dt swiss 4.1.

unless you want something super rigid and strong.
