So who got the Ritchey in Seattle?

    So who got it?

$450 seemed like a great price.

    Dang,
Too busy at work to check Clist. Do you have the link?
I woulda gone and looked at it for sure....
Seek: Koski Trailmaster. Breezer Series 2, or 3. Fillet brazed Ibis Custom. Cunningham Racer. Otis Guy (but not that softride model). That's all I need I don't need anything else... except... except for an old Mountain Goat bar stem combo. And that's all I need. I don't need anything else. Except.....

I just know that there are several people on here from Seattle and felt this was the easist way to ask.
I don't see anything wrong with it.
If no one admits to getting it then I assume we will see it on ebay at some point in the future.

Since we are calling out, did anyone get the 1986 Mountain Goat Deluxe for $80 in Portland yesterday? I missed it by 5 minutes.

I guess it's just that the flood gates are open now and some people are truly curious. I get curious also but only if it's local.

I think people that frequent here are just curious and if they didn't land it are hoping that it's someone within this community that scored.
Needed: 26.8mm XTR seatpost, blue GT/Grundig Jersey.

Hey! Yes, that was me. Not a huge VRC guy by any means, but I've wanted one of those ever since I was a mountain biking pup right out of college (I remember drooling over the Bike Pro frameset listings in Mountain Bike Action). I was sort of shocked that it hadn't already sold (especially since I had to ride the bus all the way out there to pick it up).

I'll try to put up some pictures after I get it cleaned up a little. I'm really excited to start pulling the horrible bar ends and rotting grips and beater wheels off it. Ironically, I was riding my cargo bike in NE Portland today and found an old wheel-less Trek sticking out of a garbage bin. It had some decent 6-speed thumbshifters, which I'll move over to the Goat.

EDIT: my girlfriend wishes to state for the record that SHE spotted the junked Trek *and* correctly IDed the thumbies. 2 points for Hollie.

Nothing wrong with it in my book. ..but.lot's of peeps here seem to enjoy getting their panties all in a wad about every little thing. I still don't understand it.

It was too big for me and I'm trying hard not to increase the herd. I did see it and tagged it just for fun though
