    Ritchey pro mountain seat post?

Anyone have any experience with the Ritchey pro mountain seat post?

It has a little more setback than most. Just looking or pros and cons.

    Thanks

It's a pretty generic seatpost....average weight, strength and features.
It's so generic...that if you look around, you will see the same seatpost without the Ritchey name at very low prices.

Do tell. Is it measured differently somehow? I don't doubt you, just wondering how 25mm of setback is not 25mm of setback.

I have one that is 31.6 or something. It seems fine. No complaints, and it was about half the cost of getting another Thomson.

I have seen a lot of house brands ( like Performance's ) that are the same as Ritchey. Performance has a seat post that has more setback and is lighter for 15 bucks.

the major has down,it a standard mass production post that could be had for half the price of the ritchey....check out the blow out price on the oval post from nashbar
trust me,the post does not offer 25mm of setback....
