Why does my thumb still hurt?

I went down pretty hard at mammoth about two months ago, luckily wearing full gear. The only injury I sustained was to my thumb, which managed to get bent in some weird way that makes it uncomfortable to bend down, in a fist. It can bend back fine, no pain.

It's not bad on a bike thankfully, but it just bothers me form time to time. I don't have insurance so I'm not gonna go see a doc over something like this, but I'm curious when it will heal.

It may be a pinched nerve or overextended tendon. It also could be broken. Don't believe that just because you can move it's not broken. You didn't specify what level of pain are you in either. Anyways, hope u feel better soon.

I don't think it could be broken because I can use it fine so long as im squeezing down with it. Even death gripping my bars on some sketchy new terrain isn't painful. Lifting it up is another story though, so maybe it is a tendon thing?
