Went down in a 12hour race a few weeks back. Managed to ride another 22mi after the wreck, but turns out my UCL (thumb ligament) was torn. Had the surgery to reattach, now I have a pin and cast (which is getting smellier every day).
Other than the excruciatingly boring spinning on the $10/mo gym stationary bike, what else can I do that doesn't involve holding anything?
I think I might try some core-strengthening junk...maybe even some isometrics. Whaddyathink?
