    Riding without ACL

What do you guys think about MTB without my ACL? Doc says cycling is ok without ACL because it "does not require stable knee." I assume he speaks of rode biking. What about easy smooth single track? What about steep climbs?

Lost my left ACL to skiing fall last month. Anticipating repair in July.

What about a custom fit brace until your surgery? The ACL is one half of your knee's hinge (the PCL is the other half). So, your knee buckles now I'll bet (mine did until it was replaced). He was probably thinking casual riding on a MUP.
