yesterday I saw an orthopedic specialist. He said my hip injury is on of 2 things, the easy one is just a muscle strain. The other is the same disease as Floyd Landis has, loss of blood flow to the hip joint area. I will be going for an MRI in the next few days so they can determine which it is. If it is the loss of blood flow the Dr said I caught it before any detoriation has happened, and there will be other alternatives to treat the problem. Ill just have to wait till next week for the answer. In the mean time enjoy your rides, as Im relegated to doing battle with the roadie folks. The only time it doesnt hurt is when I am riding, so that is the good part, all of the Dr's have told me to continue riding but stay off the SS.:madman:
saturday, you should do it thomas, money goes to a burn foundation for kids. The ride goes from Woodside to the coast and back, Tunitas creek is part of the route. The metric century start time is 7am. Oh and ya may as well bring Derek.
Am I correct in believing that you are riding your mt bike for this ride? Im
hoping to be done by noon, Ive only been on the bike for that long once, the Niscene to Demo ride, hope I dont feel that bad this time.
no, no... I am a closet roadie, despite rensho shooing me away from RBR.com I'll be there in spandex and waterbottles. 2hrs for you up hamilton in 100+ weather, I will need all I got to hang on to your wheel.. I was joking on RBR about the baggies and camelback.
you guys are taking the skinny tires too right?
I would take the SS if I were to ride the 30 miler with my dad, but he signed up after I had signed up for the 65miler.
