Knee pain predominately in right knee

For several weeks now I've had knee pain predominately in my right knee. I'm 21 and have never had any knee problems prior to this. I bike 3-7 miles per day commuting and ride mostly XC on weekends.

The pain to me feels like its on the anterior just above the knee cap (quadriceps tendon I believe)

Because its only one knee mostly, first thought is that its some sort of imbalance. Leg length discrepancy maybe?
The pain was much worse a week ago but since then I lowered my seat a bit and its improved. All the fitment calculators Ive tried show that my current seat height is what it should be...who really knows though.

Its not debilitating but its annoying and I fear that its going to get worse with time.
I don't have health insurance right now so I can't see a doctor but I'm wondering if anyone might have some information for me.
