    Fractured Wirst and elbow questions

I dumped Memorial day and fractured my wrist and elbow. according to the Dr i was very lucky considering how i landed. i now have the splint off and am working on stregnth training.
the tendons need to be stretched and i need to get full movement back

my question is to anyone that broke thier wrist...
how long till you rode after the splnt/cast casme off?
i still only have 1/2-2/3's rotation in my forearm before the tendons scream to stop. i can turn locks and doorknobs with no pain and pull down garage door with a slight ache.
i cant open new bottles or jars, yet. i really want to ride tomorrow to see what is up with pressure on the arm,
    Anyone have any stories tips?

    go easy!
if you can`t open a bottle, than i would go really easy.
    physiotherapy is painful (been there!!!!!!!!!!).

just take a big breath and get better! don`t lose what you achieve

Don't come back to soon. I made the mistake last year and came back too early from an accident that I injurd my elbow and then I was sidelined for another month. One year later I am still not 100% probably 90% and that was due to coming back too quickly. If you do ride make sure you wrap the elbow and wrist so it has a little extra support. Make sure you ice it down when you are done too.

It took me 9 months to hit the big jumps again. 4 months to use fingernail clippers...

Check the 'broken wrist' thread. It's pretty comprehensive.
