    Folliculitis/saddle sores

I have a fairly nasty case of folliculitis. I've been on and off antibiotics with varying degrees of success, but as soon as I stop, it comes back as bad or worse than before. What do you guys do to prevent it?

I already practice good hygiene. The problem is that 10 minutes into a ride at any temperature above 50F, I get drenched in sweat from the waist up. I ride for 2 to 6 hours at a time, it's not as if I change every 10 minutes. I wash all of my clothing and always shower after a ride.

It's really affecting my ability to enjoy biking and be able to sustain a ride for more than a few hours.

Check and see if the saddle sores are where you underwear line is. Underwear can cause pretty bad saddle sores. Try using a thong type jock with some padded bike shorts, but make sure you're not allergic to Lycra.
    Ride long, ride safe...
