    Crooked foot?

In the past month or so, I have noticed that when I walk, my right foot tends to automatically put most of the weight on the outside ridge, when I push the foot flat like it should be (more weight on the ball) it is somewhat painful. I don't recall any injury, but I was wondering if the stress of MTB'ing may have caused it. My g/f is a nurse, and suggested a possible "stress fracture."

Has anyone suffered from or heard of this problem? I don't know for sure if it is a fracture, but I definately don't walk right. Its just the right foot, with most of the weight staying on the right side and off the ball (which is what is just behind the big toe, right?). And the pain *seems* to be coming from the top of my foot.

Any help would be appreciated as I don't care much for doctor visits.

I say just go to doctor and get the thing looked at find a good podiatrist in area and have them check it out . I put up with a foot problem for too long and ended up ruining my ankle.
