    Bunion surgery

Anyone had it, and how long before you were 100% on a mountain bike? Having this surgery next week. They are going to break the bone before the big toe "knukle" joint, cut a wedge out of it, pin it and then grind down the bony mass on top of my toe "knuckle". Doc says it's a long recovery. He said it could be up to 3 months before being 100%. How will I keep my legs from shriveling up like noodles during recovery?
I got no friends, and everyone else hates me.
The older I get, the faster I was.
