    Broken ankle and slight dislocation

Last Thurs, 5/8, was riding down a local hiking/biking landmark here in Austin (Hill of Life, or HoL), when, however I want to spin it, I f-ed up. the hill is basically nothing but 300 feet vertical/.5mile long hill of MOSTLY broken baseball, softball, baby-head sized chunks of limestone. My front tire washed out to the left, I kept moving straight as foot slipped out of an eggbeater and caught all of my 200lbs or so of downward/forward momentum. Ended up breaking the base of the fibula into 3 pieces, tearing a bit of cartilege and slightly dislocating the entire ankle by about 5cm. Got the surgery today. No weight on it for 4 weeks, then therapy afterwards. Bad pic, used camera phone, but I still think it looks cool.
