Just started into real mtn bike trail riding recently, and it only took 4 trips out before I found myself on the wrong side of my handlebars and about 10-12 ft away from the bike.
This was all of about 20 minutes into a 4 hour ride.
The Spot. This is right where the bike stayed. If you look close on the right side of the pic (past that branch sticking out) you can kinda see the bush bent back that broke my fall after I bounced off the rock.
The puncture wound.
The leg
The thorn bush that stopped my tumbling.
I don't have a pic, but my lower back looked like a mix of my calf and arm.
