another injury to add to my list
well after having some really bad back pain lately, i decided to get checked by my doctor. turns out i've pulled some muscles in my neck/back. not serious at all, but what makes me mad was that i was just riding around, coming home from the skatepark. also ive been recomended to stop riding hardtails, im super pissed. in our sport injury is just something you have to deal with on a regular basis i guess.
heres some of my other bike related injuries.
broken wrist
concusion
braces punctured through lip
2 broken bones in hand, sperated shoulder, spraind wrist, bruiesd ribs.
scars everywhere
torn acl
damn i must suck
oh well just thought i'd post, as im pretty pissed.
will be back on the bike in 2 weeks depending on how i heal up.
on a side note, does anyone wanna donate a short travel mountain cross bike to me? pretty please?

wow that's quite a list. aren't you only 14 or 15? the back pain is cause the schools make us carry around those f#$%in heavy backpacks all day (atleast at my school). anyway are you gonna stop riding the HT? good luck on a fast recovery.

my back also hurt.....
after screwing up a 6ft drop to concrete. it never really stopped hurting for several months. one MRI later i found out that i now have a bulging disc in my back, where two vertabrea moved into a place that they shouldnt have moved..... they dont really go away or heal. the pain comes and goes (of course i still ride though). kinda sucks.....

Thats' too bad you have a large list, could be worse though. Mine is quite small....
1-Broken 5th metacarpul
1-Broken 5th Metacarpul
1-Broken wrist or torn ligaments or tendons, not sure never got it checked out so i could still ride but it was messed up for a good 4-5 months and only in the last 3-4 months have i gotten complete range of my wrist back.
Numerous rolled ankles that hinder me from walking well for about an hour or so.
Tony
is making a comeback.
Turns out that five years of not mountain biking, really makes one strive to get back to it.

Broken foot
Broken C-4 vertebrae
Broken tailbone
Broken nose
3rd degree burn on elbow/back of arm
10 stitches on elbow

Only one injury, but a good one. Broken wrist/arm. Two breaks on the radius and one on the ulna. Titanium plate with six screws holding the radius together. It's been exactly three months since the surgery today. I've been back on the trail for a couple weeks already. My doctor isn't real happy with me, but what are you going to do.

My list is a smaller than it should be considering the last fall I took.
Scars, and that's it. The last fall I took was crazy. I hesitated on a drop, the front wheel dropped under me, my face went straight into the ground and the seat came and hit me in the back of the head, hard. All I got were cuts.
