I just dont like the pain on the new d440. Once it gets scratched up and all, I will prob strip it down and paint it some drab color. I liked the old Monocog color..

    Nice Cog!

My last Redline went to a new home today (shop floor,LBS took it in trade),as did my old Monocog last month (mistakenly sold...long story)...I'm not likely to be buying myself another bike for a long spell (just put together 2 Vassago's and a Origin 8 CX bike...),I kinda miss it already

Doing some experimenting with mine right now. How she has looked for the last three years:

How she looks now. Switching things up for Fools Gold in Augus. Trying out the G2 Fox off of my GF Paragon. So far it is a match made in heaven. Handles well and offers enough cush to help on long rides. Think I love the handling enough that I may pick up another Monocog frame to build up as a lightish weight HT SS:

Trying these out as well...Specialized Purgatory control 2.4:

Compared to the XDX that is on it now. Think these will give more bite than the XDX. Going to mount them tubeless to the existing wheelset:

Got the 2011 cog 29er about a month ago. My first mountain bike. Im a tall clyde 6'5 255 lbs. This thing is going to turn me into a beast. This bike is amazing! By the way, if you know the flatwoods area in Tampa, you'll know that the "Misery" trail doesn't really live up to it's name lol

    My new addition:

And this is what happens when I left them alone too long (the discs have not "grown" in yet):

Going to try to keep this thread alive with some crappy cell phone shots at the end of last night's ride. I decided to switch things up a bit and run it fixed hear for a while (32x17 using a tomicog on my spare rear wheel). Yes the green grips need to go, but I wanted to try out ESI and I traded them for some Ergons I was no longer using.
