Cool, I didn't even realize I there was a Redline forum until a couple of minutes ago!
Anyways, a friend gave me a frame, fork, and unfortunately, a stuck seatpost, which I am now using for bike polo. It's definitely a Monocog 29er, but I can't tell for sure what year it is. I was looking at this 2009 archived info, and the font on the bike looks similar, but my frame is black. On this page, it doesn't mention seat post diameter size:

So I looked at the 2010 catalog, and they say the post is 26.8mm:

My problem is that I used my digital calipers, and the seatpost that is stuck in the frame is 26.6mm. I'm wondering if they changed it from 2009 to 2010, or if my calipers are off. I am in the process of trying to unstick the seatpost -- I've tried blowtorch/freezing, long pipe wrench and 4' PVC cheater bar attached to the end, and PB Blaster. Next up is cutting the top section off, then in sections lengthwise.
Anyways, here are pics of the frame now, and then:

So can anyone confirm the year, and even the seatpost size? When I get this old seatpost off, obviously I need to get another. Thanks in advance for your help!
