QUICK size Check please! Monocog 17" 5'7?

    I may be buying a Monocog 17" and I'm 5'7 with around 30" inseam.

Is 17" ideal? Or is 15"?

    Thanks!

26er I'd say yes, go for the 17inch. I am similar in shape and know that we can be in the middle of two ways to go. I'd go medium frame with the smaller wheels.

29ers feel a lot bigger, so you might be inclined to do the small frame if you have a shorter torso.
"Ideal" is relative to too many things. If you can, ride them both and do the comparison that way.
    Good luck!

Ah sorry. Forgot to mention it's a 29er. Which I searched around and the few posts I found seem to indicate my nuts could suffer with 17"er

I'm 6'1" and I ride a 19" cog. With a 90mm stem, it's about perfect. Test ride a 15 and 17 if you can, and get whichever one feels better to you. Looks like the stand over on the 17, is just over 30.

Flip a coin. I am 5'8" and can set up either to fit. If you plan on running bars with sweep like Marys or FU bars, go with the bigger to avoid needing an excessively long stem. I you like straight bars you may be happier with the smaller. You don't actually get much more standover from the 15 because of the top tube sloping up the suspension corrected head tube height anyway.

17 inch and shorter stem/sweep back bars rides better than a 15 and longer stem.

I bought a 17 inch at 5'9 and its to small, my 5'6 GF rides it with a 50mm stem and its fit great.

    5'6" with 29" inseem.

Riding is perfect. Standing over is another story. Let's just say that me and that top tube know each other intimately!
