    Disc Tabs

Has anyone else had any issues with the Disc Tab on a Monocog 29er fork being welded on crooked? I drove myself nuts all weekend trying to get my BB7's installed and could not get rid of the rubbing even after a little filing. Turns out the tab is crooked and I could budge it. I have no other complaints about this bike but just seeing if it is a common issue or not.

I remain convinced Monocog rear brake bosses are mounted too low on the frames (see my other post) but my BB7s went on very easily at both ends. Is the tab twisted or is it welded to the fork in a not-straight line?
