Adding Disc Brakes - what do I need?

I purchased a set of Avid Juicy 3's with no rotors and want to install them on my 2008 Monocog. I am surprised rotors are so expensive. Anyone have a suggestion on rotors to get? Do I also need an adapter to install the caliper to the frame, anyone know which adapter I need? Thanks!

cheapest set of rotors i've seen are at wheelandsprocketos on ebay. a pair of 160mm hayes rotors for $18 shipped. you'd need 160mm adapters for the front and rear calipers if you bought those. as far as hardware goes, i have no idea what came with your set, so you may need avid's cps hardware for the mounts and maybe the bolts to secure the calipers to each mount. check jensonusa for the misc hardware replacements. lastly, try searching the brake forum for compatible rotor replacements, just in case good luck!
