    21" Monocog Flight Pics please!!!

Hey guys, I'm a huge singlespeed freak now, and I'm contemplating picking up a 21" Monocog Flight. Please post some pics of the 21" bike/frame.....I want to see specifically how the 21" frame looks.....thanks....

This is my original bike, it was lost in a house fire a few weeks ago. I was able to get a replacement and have mostly built it up the same as the original. I've done the same upgrades to the new one:

    Chris King Headset
    Avid Elixer CRs 160mm/185mm
    KMC bmx chain
    Race Face bashguard
    Easton riser bar
    XTR pedals
    ODI lock on grips
    Garmin GPS mount
gearing reduced for the climbing we do here in WA

Out of all the upgrades I did I wouldn't skip the headset, the stock one is crap. Love the bike though, not ideal for all trails but when you're on the terrain it is suited for it's a blast to ride.

Thanks man, sweet looking ride! So where do I find different cogs for the rear? I think the bike comes with a 16, and I'm more used to an 18. How have the cranks held up so far? I'll definitely plan a new headset, and I also plan to upgrade the brakes, Reba Fork, probably wheels, and maybe a chain like I saw you did. Any other recomendations? Thanks....

I ended up using both the front chainring and rear cog off of a previous bike that I parted out. I'd have to check the tooth counts but it ended up being just a small departure from the stock gearing. The chain was more than a looks thing, the 9 speed chain that it came with was crap, stretched like mad and was only a matter of time before it broke. BMX chains are far more tough and more appropriate for a single speed. The crank and BB has been fine, so far the thing has been bullet proof.

HAHA a little over 6''-6"...what was my tell, the seat set up in the stratosphere? No wonder it hurts so much when I wipe-out...

This is my replacement all built up. I went a bit crazy on this one and did a few more upgrades. As shown it comes in just under 26 pounds, which isn't bad for a 21" steel frame bike!

    Chris King headset
    Chris King single speed hub
    Chris King front hub
    Easton riser bar
    ODI lock on grips
    Thomson seatpost
    Thomson stem
    Origin8 carbon fork
    KMC BMX chain
    Chris king 20t cog
    Fizik Gobi saddle
    Avid Elixer Carbon brakes 185/160
    Race Face bash ring
    Crank Brothers skewers
    Shimano XT SPD pedals

We're living in a friends guest house while our house is rebuilt after a fire. The guest house is really the 2nd and 3rd floor of a horse barn and the tack room has become my workshop. A little dirt from my tires is better than the manure that is normally there from their boots
