I would chock it up to terrible UI design on the website homepage. if I were motivated enough to provide screenshots, you'd see that when you hit mtbr.com, there is a Forums button at the top. When you mouse-over the forums button, "29er bikes" or something to that effect appears below. People are going to click that.

^ Amen to the bad UI design. Also, the layout and organization of all the threads may have some structure to it, but if there is, I can't figure out how its laid out.

However, the enhanced text interface that I'm typing on right now is very nice, as is the way you upload pictures to threads and your gallery.

Why is there a 29er forum in the 1st place? Shouldn't this forum be disolved? There's a Bikes and Frame forum.

^ well there are lots and lots of different type of bike forums on here --- 29, 26, AM (whatever that is), DH, cyclocross (which isn't a mtb at all) and probably a bunch of other ones that I haven't seen.

The organization of these forums leaves a lot to be desired which causes clowns like the OP to declare that you should post your stuff on the correct place.

All of this is stupid though, as no matter where you post, you typically get good answers and that helps your bike knowledge or whatever issue it is that you're trying to address or solve. I started a thread about a week ago about a warranty issue on my gf's Trek concerning a defective Suntour fork, and a few days later the rep from Suntour posted on it and left his # for me to call about it. --- Unbelievable!

You click on the little warning symbol at the bottom right of his (and every) post and it takes you to a reporting screen. I just did that.

Just skip over their post. It's not like 1000's of posts are made every day clogging things up.

Why is it so hard for people to grasp this concept rather than posting them in the 29er BIKE forum.
Why is it so hard for people to rack their weights at the gym? PEOPLE ARE STUPID!!! There I said it.

If you really didn't care you wouldn't feel the need to post about it.

Are you talking about my comment, or yours?

In a worthless thread of worthless posturing, it takes balls to pretend that one a-hole comment is better than another. Again though... you're blowing your "I don't care" cover by responding.

Hey Jeff - I really don't know what you're talking about, nor do I see any reference to me not caring about something in my post. What I do know is that just because you don't agree with what someone says doesn't make it a useless post... But it just might make you the Ahole.

    Dear Moderators:

There isn't much more to be said on this topic and the thread has devolved into pedantic bickering. Would it be possible to un-sticky this thread now? Please?

I'm still looking for the right 29er bottle cage. Suggestions? I'd prefer stainless.
C'mon lets go for a whirl.

    Sticky'd?!?! Really?!?
Naysayers never apologize. Critics go to their grave thinking everyone else is wrong.

... and if we just ...

I was going to answer the difficult question above regarding the 29er bottle cage but i don't know if i
can answer any more questions here due to all the pedantic bickering on here . It sure makes it hard to answer anything with all this bickering going on.
