Site Feedback x-post - lets move the Passion Forum to help eliminate garbage posts

Lets move it down in the forum list. And remove the quick link to Passion from the Forums header. Replace them in both spots with the General Discussion forum. That way everyone who is too lazy to scroll down the forum list or find an appropriate forum to post useless crap will now be posting their garbage a more appropriate forum.

Those who seek passion will put the appropriate effort in to find it where ever the forum link is located.

    Thank you

This has been discussed before. Let's hope this time it actually happens.

I totally agree it should be in alphabetical order. In fact just last week I mentioned that in this thread.
The Lamest sub forum on MTBR - AND THE WINNER IS ?
    From that thread:

I agree. I've long thought General Discussion should go to the top. Passion has become the defacto garbage dump of all posts since it is first.

I think there are too many forums on the site.

I think think some forums should to combined like putting Passion forum in the General Forum (I don't know why they are separate and maybe just have Passion as a sticky)

    2 bike light forums?

I think Eastern Canada and Western Canada forums should be merged... One Canada forum is enough

lets do it... and do we really need all the component sub forums? lots of duplication going on there...

and perhaps a more equable process will evolve in the management of some the forums to actually help mountain biking/advocacy and to eliminate the supported one sided acrimonious discussions. it will definitely help with the credibility which is lacking now.

I'd support this move, as long as it includes a grumpy filter.
