May 31 – Boulder, CO - For Immediate Release
Maverick riders Mike West, Ariel Lindsley, and Abby Hippely each scored victories at the Chile Challenge in Angel Fire, New Mexico on May 26-28, the second event in the 2007 Mountain States Cup series.
Riding their team Maverick ML8s, Mike and Abby won the men’s and women’s Open Super D races; while Ariel rode to a convincing victory in the Downhill Semi Pro event,
and to a close second place finish in the Open Super D.
“The great thing about the ML8” says Lindsley “is that it pedals and climbs better than most cross country bikes, but is still competitive in gnarly, aggressive downhill conditions.”
The next event for the Maverick Team will be at the Mountain States Cup #3 in Crested Butte, CO on June 23-24. (www.racemsc.com)
