Chatel Mountain Cycle team newsletter 2007/09/05

Were back from Eurobike, the Team is on the podium again, and we cross our fingers!

Last week we were at Eurobike in Germany for one of the biggest shows in the bicycle
world. For the first time Eurobike organised a demo-day, which we attended with some of
    our demo fleet.

Sadly the day was affected by rather a lot of rain (though it didnt stop the Germans and
the Austrians who came en-masse to ride...).

Once dried off we went to the main show for 4 crazy days of showing our new products,
explaining the recent history of Mountain Cycle and to present all our new projects in
    progress...

The reaction of the buyers we met was really good, and between other meetings with our
suppliers, and future team partners, we did not really have time to appreciate the rest of
    the show!

So, many thanks to all our customers, journalists, fans and believers...for visiting us during
this Eurobike show. Lots of enthusiastic discussion gives us the power and energy needed to continue our effort and bring you soon our best new products !

On the Team side, For once well talk about cross-country first , with a superb 4th place for Ed Nicoll in the Transvercors. This 100km race is one of the French XC marathon worlds toughest challenges, as it is registered on the calendar like a gold race . Cheer to Ed who finished the race in 5H25 and won himself a basket of local cheese!

Last but not least; this week and especially this week end we are 200% behind Floriane Pugin, our rider who is taking part in the World Championships at Fort Williams. We can only cross our fingers and hope that her dreams come true and she will return to us with a rainbow jersey !

Nothing is won before the finishing line Flo, full gaz until the last pedal stroke!

SHE DID IT!! Flo is World Champion DH Junior Women.
No Emily though - British Cycling Federation have had a lot of criticism for not putting more riders to the event.

Awesome day in Fort Bill - best event I've ever been to. Our local boy Ruraidh Cunningham took the Junior mens DH - you could hear the crowd for miles.

    Well done Flo!
SCOTLAND! Where men are men and sheep are scared!
