Ahmadinejad wants to lay a wreath at Ground Zero.

A case of spitting in our collective faces, or goodwill needs to start somewhere?

    Is that "wreath," or "wrath?"

Ahmadinejad is a nutter, but I think that the Iranians in general have more in common with the West than their surrounding neighbors. Shamed about the mullahs running things...

Don't let the facts get in the way of some good, old-fashioned anti-Iran propaganda.

Can we think past the leaders and think about the women and kids and the human life?

I mean, isn't it a gesture that could possibly, in some small and remote way, give more of a chance to IMPROVE relations?

Is the point to improve relations so that Iran can answer it's stupendous energy problems (they don't have a whole lot of oil anymore) and we can keep them from nuclear bombs? One would think so.

Isn't that the issue? I think that's exactly what Ahmadinejad is trying to do.

He must not have a chance to appear human.

I did hear the theory that he was laying the wreath for the hijackers...

Ah, the times we live in.

I say the chance of it happening is wafer-thin.

I thought that's why economic sanctions would not be effective, is we need their oil?

The median age for Iran, 25.8 years
with such a young population, anything is possible.
