My two bikes.
2015 Large M6 xx1 built with ccdb inline, rock shox pike, i9 wheels, xtr brakes and sixc bars with a Easton 40mm stem.
2016 429 trail (medium) xt/xtr pro built (2x11) with next sl cranks, raceface dropper post and rf Aeffect saddle. Only 3 rides on it but I'm very happy with it. Debating in turning it to 140mm and sell the m6
Very nice bikes , but ...the 2016 429 SL seems like a 429 Trail.

My bike is now 100% complete. The blue "Pivot" decals are on the frame match the darker ones on the fork/wheels but never come out true in the pics...shes shy ;?) I have definitely gravitated much more towards trail than XC in my riding and style in the last 2 years. The blue 2009 mach 4 at the bottom was 23.98lbs and is nowhere near as fun to ride as pictured. It now weighs just over 25lbs due to dropper post and heavier pedals. 2.6 degree head angle and 6 years of design amongst other things makes a HUGE difference.

Love my Pivot Mach 4C !!
Swapped out the Pivot 90mm stem for a Race Face 60mm stem,
slid the saddle aft a bit... quicker handling, more neutral weight distribution and feels better on the knees. Gonna be a great riding season!
My New Mach 6
Took a few rides to dial in but now I love this thing. Of course it didn't take long to get it filthy:
2014 frame with 2015 components
KS Lev Integra Post
KS Southpaw remote
Some old Shimano SPD pedals I had laying around.
Does anyone here have/or is planning to buy a Switchblade? It looks pretty cool. If I had the money I would buy one in an instant.
New Pivot Mach 429SL
XT/XTR 1x build. I have some i9 blue ultralite wheels on order but didn't come in when the bike did and I couldn't stand to wait to ride it.
I love my 8 year old 429 - she been a capable and reliable bike.
Here she is on a ride past month in the Austrian Alps
My 2011 429
Great bike for me... tho I see a 429c in my future.. someday
Why the size discrepancies between your 2 bikes?
If you are referring to my bike and the one posted just before.. mine is a medium.. and I'd guess MTBNate's is a large...

Damn...went with push industries on the shock....very nice. I would think that would be more of an all round quiver killer vs the firebird unless you hit bike parks or get shuttled a lot. Very nice. BTW....whats it weigh (with pedals ready to ride)? Just curious.
About 28. Thanks. Just wish I had a little more wheelbase. It's my second mach6.
2017 Firebird. Owned it for only a few days and one ride so far.
