Medium complete bikes have already shipped in the US. Large complete's next week. For frames I have heard late October/Early Nov for US. No idea for the UK.

Interesting. I was told frame only orders weren't shipping until early 2014. The frame kit comes with the BB and HS, correct? Were you simply able to order one through your LBS?

is that true? Framekit comes with BB and HS? How would they know what cranks and fork we're running? I'm assuming it comes with options?

Really? We MUST buy that Fox? Is that just how you ordered it or is that how the kit comes?

I asked about frame and fork only but Pivot offered frame as a kit,HS,BB,rear axle and fork.I was skeptical too about Fox myself but the mechanic at my LBS has been using the 2014's on two different bikes and has had nothing but praise for them he is also a very good friend of mine and we ride together frequently, they are working like the failed 2013's were supposed to. I got what I thought was a very generous deal plus my shop threw in a KS Lev Integra post to persuade me!

Sweet looking rig there, kibosh. Can you tell us a build weight?

So these can be had without the Fox fork. Great. I want a Pike on mine too (IF I get one).

Love that slack head angle, DH style.

Looks damn good with the Pike! Pike was my first choice but at time when I ordered mine it was not offered.my shop is so confident of the fox that they offered free servicing for as long as I owned it and with the Integra perk how could I refuse! but we will see over time about the Fox and I would prefer to stay at 150mm for now.

As it sits right now I am at 28.0lbs with tires setup tubeless, dropper post, and pedals. The bike was a standard X01 build, my LBS swapped out the fork (160mm Pike), brakes (XT), seat post (Reverb), and front tire (Hans Dampf).

I waffled a little on whether to go 150mm or 160mm, in the end I went with the 160mm on the recommendation of my LBS, however they said it was possible to convert it to 150mm if I hated it.

While I have only ridden it in my cul-de-sac and down some stairs, so far it feels really nice.

I would prefer not to have the extra 5 degree of slack, after riding my friends medium it felt just right, and after a 30ft speed step down gap and another approx same distance but sends you higher and steeper transition I found the 150mm more then suitable for now.

Just to clarify: If you're ordering a bike/kit from Pivot you WILL get a Fox fork and Shock. We don't stock anything else. Your shop can work out something on their end if you want to run a different fork...

Thanks for the clarification. An earlier post implied that frame kits were shipping already, but frame only (I.e., no BB, HS, axle, fork) aren't shipping until early 2014. Is that correct?

Frames are late October/early November. Frame kits are right now. Is that the stock X01 build kit with the Pike? I did not see that as an option.

Yes stock X01 build, with Pike and dropper post added after the fact. The Pike isn't an option from Pivot.

Thanks. Bike looks great with the 160mm Pike. Would you mind measuring the actual HA and BB height?

It is my understanding that with a 160mm fork you will be half a degree slacker,my Carbine BBH is 14' set up as 27.5 at 26 was 13.6 which I was real happy with but worth the trade off for 27.5 all though I did notice the difference mostly doing turns a race speed,of course you adapt to a degree but that small change in height can be a game changer depending on your intended use.as far as crank hits I experienced no discernible difference in pedal strikes at 13.6.

Tech once you get the Mach 6 built up would you please compare it to your Carbine. That is another bike I have my eye on.

Based on the most accurate measurements I can take I am at a 65.7deg head angle and a 13.5" BB. Bear in mind a small inaccuracy in measuring will throw the HA measurement off by a couple of tenths of a degree, and I'm using a tape measure.

Not sure why my BB height is lower than stock, the Pike might have a lower A2C length than the stock Fox (I haven't looked it up, and I don't really care.)

And another pic of the bike out on the trail:
