    Mach 4 tire clearance?

So what size tire can the mach 4 handle? My old asr can run the race king 2.2 - but only barely. Now conti has the x-king 2.4 coming out, that might be a nice tire for trail riding or maybe racing. I think its 60mm across according to the conti website.

My experience is from a 429, but the largest tire I fit back there was a Maxxis Arendt 2.4 on Stans Arches I ran this summer in San Diego. It was not pleasant when it rained briefly, but in the dry weather it was fine-- with the exception of the tire would hit the FD when in the granny.

Good info! I found an article someplace that said the mach 4 frame was ok with a 2.35 nevegal - which according to some googling is a little narrower than the ardent 2.4. And, the ardent 29er 2.4 is wider at 61.6 mm casing width than the x-king, so maybe it'll be ok then.
