List your Tyre's that fit a firebird 650b conversion
As i needed to order my tyre's from the states as availability at the mo in oz is limited its a risk knowing what tyre's will and won't fit.
So lets take the guess work and hrs of web browsing trying to find out what tyre's will or won't fit.
List the frame, tyre angle set and forks and rims you are using and clearance .
Frame: 2009 small firebird
Rims: Stans flow ex 650b
Forks: 2009 Fox Float 36 160mm
Angleset: None yet will when I see what others are using
Tyre's: Pacenti neo moto 2.3 on rear and front
Clearance : rear 5mm. front 10mm no rubbing on crown when air was fully released
Lets keep this simple no debate over what wheel, tyres are better just what fits

HD? On the rear? If that fits than anything will fit
What was the clearance like with that?

Yes HD fits and the clearance was about 5 mm.
I think HD is lower at size 650B

Maxxis Ardent 2.25 clearance is like 1mm with a 2010 medium firebird (the older version with 135mm rear axel). What Maxxis Ardent size did you try?

Sorry, we didn't try Ardent on rear, because I think it's a front wheel tire.
And the size was 2.25 EXO
I have the new model with 142mm rear axel, do they differ?
Because it's sound strange, that you have only 1 mm clearance

Maxxis highroller ll 2.3 won't fit a 2009 135 axle just rubs but ok on front.
Anyone else find the neo motos side walls paper thin. It's the first tyre I've ripped a hole in the side and looking how thin the walls are I'm not surprised.
It's a shame as their an awesome tyre and they fit the frame perfect.
