    LES 275 Love

Not many LES threads on this board so I thught I'd share my latest project....

Picked up a LES 275 frame that was brand new but had a couple minor paint blems / scratches. Got a good deal and had the parts on hand to build it up.

    LES 275 sz M
    Pike fork dropped to 130
    XX1 driverain
    XTR brakes
Derby 40mm front rim laced to I9 torch hub
    Maxxis Ardent 2.4 tire
LightBicycles 35mm rear to I9 Torch
    Maxxis Ikon rear tire
    Easton Havoc bars
    Thompson Masterpiece satpost
    Thompson 90mm stem

Still comes in at 22lbs even with the heavier fork + from wheel

This thing is a fun ripper!

Similar build to mine. The Les 27.5 is a very fun ride. Unfortunately I have found that my body, my lower back in particular, can't handle the marathon distance races on a hardtail like I have been doing. So I am swapping all the parts over to a new Mach 4 frame when/if it arrives in May. The Les frame will be up for sale. That being said, I love ripping the Les around on shorter rides and any length of smoother trail. We just don't have much of it here in southern Arizona. The bike shreds though.
