Jason English wins world solo 24 hour championship

Great performance and on a Pivot (and one leg for the last three laps)! Jason almost lapped the field.

Iím curious about one item that seems strange. Does anyone have additional details on why his rear shock ended up bent half way thru the race? Maybe the shock failed (lost of air) and or bottomed out once too many times? No mention in his blog on this issue.

Last weekend was a great weekend for Pivot!
    Jason took worlds.

Timarie took 4th in the Woman's National 24hrs of Moab
Ernesto took 5th in the National 24hrs of Moab
    And Erik took 7th.

Great weekend for winning on a Pivot!

But really, isn't every Pivot rider a winner?
    Wow, sorry about that.

And he is a machine, I rode the Dwellinup 100 over here in the West and couldn't belive how fast he goes! When he finished he said he couldn't go much faster, but could have done another 3 laps!
I was happy to finish the 100

And to beat the competition by so much, wow

Sounds like this 24 hour solo stuff is hard on the knees! Hope those riders get over it soon.

Interesting, he was riding a 26er. Curious if any one knows why or if he has expressed an opinion. Any of the competition on 29ers?
