You may also just want to put on a chainstay protector. The stock rubber on the 5.7c is great for protection; not so much for sound. PRO components protector is cheap and quiet: accessories

Uninstalled the bionicon on the M5.7Al last ride and noticed more chain slap. I'll reinstalled the bionicon. The main problem is the durability of the plastic tube of the Bionicon.

Yes version 2. I broke one plastic hanger this summer and the second is on it's last miles.

    snoroqc,

That's a lot for a one summer and guide tube replacements cost 9,95
It's too much, but what else we have, because 5.7 don't have ISCG05 tabs

Sorry, I broke the hanger (4$) NOT the guide tube. One of my friend had a bionicon and unistalled it after he bought a type 2 Sram derailler.

I'm running a C Guide and a Type 2 RD for ultimate security and have never dropped a chain. My bike is ninja silent. I originally broke the plastic hanger piece, but haven't had issues since I put a 3rd zip tie in the center like they now recommend. Guide tube is wearing surprisingly well.
Gotta get up to get down.
