    Firebird Bottom Bracket Spacer?

Anyone know if they have a spacer on the drive side? From my research I dont think you should have one according to shimano and pivot, however I was looking in to a rubbing issue and noticed I had one, removed it and there does not seem to be enough clearance for the chain in the little ring? Advice is appreciated, this bike has always had a strange shifting issue and I am really hoping this is related. It does not like to shift down unless the stop is set so far in on the FD that the FD rubs on the frame when the suspension is compressed and in the little ring.
    Thanks

Assuming that you are using the e type front derailleur mounted to the Firebird's floating mount and not to the bottom bracket you should use (1) 2.5 mm spacer on the drive side.
