    Derby's on the Mach 6

Just wondering if anyone has the 40mm wide Derby rims/wheels on the Mach 6? if so how do they fit on the rear, since the chainstay's are somewhat narrow and what tire combo are you running.

The same question goes out to anyone running Light Bicycles 35mm wide rims.. thx

I have Derbys and no issues. Have run as wide as the new Rock Razor 2.35 which is nominally wider than the Hans Dampf and there was still plenty of clearance. I highly recommend them.

No issues with the Derby's and 2.3 NeoMotos. Haven't had to get a spacer kit either with Hope Hubs and XX1 kit.

I'm not sure the wider rims will increase the width of the tire. I just mounted a 2.35 butcher on 29 mm internal width Nox carbon rims and its no wider than wihen on some 20mm internal width alloy rims. The pictures here seem to confirm WIDE rims.

I'm running 2.35" Hand Damfs on 35mm LB rims on a M6 no issues with clearance.

Wide rims won't change the tire width much. They will change the tire profile a significant amount - particularly if you try to run a narrow tire on a wide rim.
    Safe riding,
